For over 20 years, Mr. Nagengast has consulted clients on issues of institutional investing, fiduciary compliance, and retirement plans and policies. He is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), a past president of the Los Angeles Chapter of ISCEBS and a member of the Western Pension & Benefits Conference. He is widely quoted in investment publications and is a regular speaker and writer on topics related to retirement plans and institutional investments. In addition, Mr. Nagengast is a co-founder of Target Date Analytics LLC, together with Craig Israelsen and Ron Surz, and has directed each of the studies in the series Popping the Hood: An Analysis of Major Life Cycle Fund Families, including the new release of Popping the Hood III.
